Vital Voices Global Partnership is looking for a Program Manager, Women Leaders India. This role will support strategic execution and management of the WomenLeaders India Fellowship, ensuring the program is delivered with excellence, on time, within budget, and aligned with department and organizational impact goals.
The Program Manager bridges high-level planning with on-the-ground operations, managing the program lifecycle from design through delivery, evaluation, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead program planning, execution, and evaluation, ensuring objectives, timelines, deliverables, and risks are effectively managed
- Design, adapt, and facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions and learning journeys for women leaders and social entrepreneurs
- Manage travel, procurement, contracts, program materials, participant logistics, and convening operations
- Develop, manage, and monitor program budgets and forecasts, ensuring compliance and optimal resource allocation
- Manage evaluation plans, tools, feedback systems, and reports, integrating data insights into program improvements
- Support proposal development, funder relationship management, donor reporting, and renewal strategies
- Support program messaging, branding, storytelling, and strategic communications to stakeholders and partners
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with program participants, trainers, partners, and donors
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Finance, Development, and Communications
- Support and supervise interns, contractors, and consultants as needed
- Provide support for department activities and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in international relations, international development, public administration, business, nonprofit management, or related field preferred; 4–8 years of relevant professional experience required
- Demonstrated experience in global women's issues, UN Sustainable Development Goals, women's entrepreneurship, women's leadership, civil society, and/or social impact programming
- Experience designing curriculum, developing learning journeys, and leading or facilitating virtual and in-person trainings, workshops, or convenings strongly preferred
- Strong relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and stewardship skills
- Excellent complex project management skills, including ability to manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, logistics, and risks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to prioritize tasks, swiftly shift priorities, and work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, self-awareness, and commitment to equity, inclusion, and community-centered approaches
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), project management tools, and database software such as Salesforce
- Experience working in or with India, South Asia, or India-focused leadership, entrepreneurship, or civil society programs required
- Hindi or other relevant Indian language skills preferred
