About this role
UnLtd is looking for a Social Entrepreneur Support Manager.
This role will focus on delivering the best possible support to social entrepreneurs and their ventures to help them maximise their social impact. You will lead on finding, funding and supporting social entrepreneurs from start-up to scale, working with a diverse portfolio at different stages of their journey.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive support packages to social entrepreneurs including awards (grants), individual and business support, peer-to-peer support access, and network connections,
- Manage a portfolio of social entrepreneurs at different stages of their journey, from ideation through to growth and scale,
- Support early-stage or growth-stage ventures as needed, offering flexibility and skill development opportunities,
- Deepen UnLtd's capability and expertise in supporting social entrepreneurs at different development stages,
- Support the design, development and delivery of externally funded programmes,
- Work with thematically or geographically linked social entrepreneurs as appropriate,
- Increase UnLtd's visibility and positive reputation through developing local networks and connections,
- Drive peer-to-peer engagements locally and online, nationally
Requirements
- Specific knowledge or experience supporting ventures at various development stages (idea, start-up, scaling, growth),
- Understanding of why supporting social entrepreneurs matters and how personal or professional experience shapes your approach,
- Specialist knowledge relating to markets social entrepreneurs operate in (health, employability, etc.) or social/environmental justice issues,
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion and understanding intersectionality,
- Ability to work with diverse social entrepreneurs from different backgrounds and experiences
