About this role

Tony's Chocolonely is looking for a Project Manager Operations. You will ensure full visibility, governance, and successful delivery of Operations-led projects across the organization. You will enable effective resource allocation, drive structured decision-making through stage-gate processes, and lead medium-to-high complexity operational projects end-to-end, contributing directly to supply chain optimization, cost savings, and growth enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive project portfolio visibility: Maintain a clear and up-to-date overview of all Operations projects, including pipeline, timelines, and resource allocation across teams,
  • Oversee project governance: Lead and optimise the stage-gate process, ensuring structured decision-making, clear approvals, and a consistent governance rhythm across all projects,
  • Lead end-to-end project execution: Manage medium-to-high complexity projects from concept to implementation, ensuring delivery on time, in full, within scope, and within budget,
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams: Align and guide stakeholders across Product, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery,
  • Own supply chain impact: Assess and manage end-to-end project impact across the full supply chain, from production through to customers, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption,
  • Build and track business cases: Develop robust top-down and bottom-up business cases, validate assumptions with Finance, and monitor post-launch performance against targets,
  • Manage risks and decision-making: Identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and prepare clear recommendations to support timely and effective decision-making,
  • Communicate and engage stakeholders: Provide transparent updates on progress, risks, and outcomes, ensuring alignment and clarity across all levels of the organisation,
  • Support and elevate ways of working: Guide teams in using the right tools, templates, and processes, continuously improving project management practices across Operations

Requirements

  • Several years project management experience, preferably within FMCG, supply chain, or operations environments, managing complex and cross-functional projects,
  • Strong experience in leading end-to-end projects with full ownership of timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables,
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining structure, clarity, and focus on priorities,
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and optimisation, with the ability to assess end-to-end impact,
  • Strong business acumen and experience building and tracking business cases in collaboration with Finance,
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and align diverse stakeholders across geographies and disciplines,
  • Excellent project governance and organisational skills, with experience working in structured methodologies (e.g., stage-gate or similar frameworks),
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to anticipate challenges and act proactively,
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a natural ability to build relationships and influence outcomes,
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving scale-up environment, bringing structure while remaining flexible,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Belief in Tony's purpose and core values: outspoken, in it together, entrepreneurial, raise the bar, and makes you smile
