About this role

Social Sync is looking for a Content and Marketing Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role instrumental in delivering high-leverage content, digital, and outbound distribution strategies to generate a highly qualified pipeline for the UK's leading nonprofit fundraising software platform.

Working closely with the COO, you will creatively lead marketing outputs to drive more and higher-value leads for the sales team, focusing on impact and qualified outcomes rather than vanity metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end production of deep-dive, data-driven case studies highlighting Cost of Inaction, ROI multipliers, and structural hooks
  • Build and maintain a clean, segmented outbound broadcast list focusing on decision makers within the UK charity sector
  • Deliver weekly minimum single-focus, authoritative communications in direct brand voice positioning case studies as solutions to sector pain points
  • Design, deliver and coordinate high-converting thought leadership content via senior leadership, deploying provocative tone a minimum of 3x per week
  • Embed directly into revenue teams by shadowing a minimum of 2 live Sales or Customer Success calls per week
  • Listen to client friction points and develop raw ideas for copy frameworks, ad copy, and economic case studies
  • Take full technical ownership of lead-routing and scheduling automation
  • Launch and optimise high-pass filter on website (gated booking forms) to instantly qualify leads
  • Translate complex platform capabilities into undeniable economic benefits
  • Design and deploy highly targeted LinkedIn paid acquisition campaigns
  • Generate £100k in qualified marketing pipeline value per month
  • Secure consistent cadence of 6 ICP-qualified demos per month with verified decision-makers
  • Optimise lead filtering infrastructure to reduce discovery stage pipeline loss to <15%

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years experience in Charity Marketing role, or B2B SaaS marketing, content management, or growth marketing with proven track record of driving qualified pipeline value
  • Exceptional copywriter able to write in bold, direct, challenging, and highly confident tone
  • Creative eye with ability to concisely brief designers and ideally design assets for ads, organic posts, blogs, articles and communication channels
  • Commercially and economically minded; measure success by contract value and pipeline health, not vanity metrics
  • Preferably highly technical marketing all-rounder proficient in CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) to build gated forms, advanced lead scoring rules, and automated nurture tracks
  • Strategic, fast-learning thinker ready to dive into live calls and master specific economic challenges, data points, and vocabulary of UK charity sector

How to apply

Send an email to workwithus@socialsync.io with your LinkedIn profile link and answers to four questions: (Q1) Write a LinkedIn post Social Sync could publish in response to a Head of Fundraising's painful platform demo experience (5–8 sentences); (Q2) Tell us about a piece of content or campaign you're proud of, what it achieved, and how you knew it worked; (Q3) What's one thing UK charities consistently get wrong about fundraising technology and what should they do differently; (Q4) Describe something you built, changed, or started at work that nobody asked you to.

Answer each question directly in the body of the email — no attachments needed.
