Teacher - Technical AI Safety and/or AI Governance & Strategy

ML4Good is looking for teachers with a grounding in technical AI safety and/or governance & strategy to teach at one or many of their bootcamps. You'll work in a team of three to four other teachers, led by an experienced headteacher, teaching classes, supporting participants through technical and/or governance sessions and exercises, running discussion groups, and supporting the smooth running of an 8-day intensive bootcamp.

• Lead instructional sessions for participants who are new to AI safety
• Facilitate dynamic workshops and interactive sessions
• Provide one-on-one feedback and mentor participants
• Work with head teachers to update and improve curriculum
• Develop and/or update sessions prior to and during the bootcamp
• Help assess curriculum effectiveness through feedback and participant outcomes to refine and enhance the programme

• Experience communicating and teaching ideas clearly
• Organised and proactive
• Familiar with the AI safety field
• Concerned and motivated by AI risk and safety
• Depth in at least one of: Technical (solid grounding in AI systems, transformer architecture, model evaluations, red-teaming methods) OR Governance (solid grasp of key policy and governance issues in AI)
• Bonus: Experience designing workshops or exercises that build strategic thinking
