Operations Lead, Kickstarting For Good

Kickstarting For Good is looking for an Operations Lead. This is an operations role for someone who treats every recurring task as a puzzle worth redesigning. You'll run the practical operations of our Berlin-based food-system incubator, from in-person week logistics to cohort support, while continuously re-imagining how that work gets done through AI tools and process innovation.

• Run the practical operations of in-person incubation weeks in Berlin: space setup, catering, logistics, and cohort support,
• For every recurring task, design the second iteration — build checklists, templates, AI workflows, or participant-owned processes that reduce future workload,
• Experiment with AI tools (Claude, Notion AI, etc.) to automate, draft, summarise, and accelerate work,
• Take ownership of the incubator space at Genthiner Straße: maintain it as an attractive, functional workspace for programmes,
• Coordinate cohort logistics: travel, accommodation, stipends, and documentation,Identify opportunities for participant ownership of logistics as a learning experience, not just labour transfer,
• Serve as the connection between K4G and ProVeg's operational teams when needed

• Curious, restless attitude — you see a task done the same way twice and ask why,
• Sharp, fast communication in English (written and verbal); ability to summarise, ask clearly, push back politely, and keep teams in the loop,
• Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to work without a clear playbook,
• Genuine interest in AI tools and willingness to learn at high speed,
• Hands-on willingness to execute practical tasks (e.g. breakfast logistics) from day one,
• Alignment with the mission to move the food system toward a healthier, more sustainable, plant-forward future,
• Helpful but not required: previous operations, events, hospitality, or coordination experience; familiarity with Notion, Slack, Google Workspace; conversational German; history of building or improving things independently
