About this role

EIT Culture & Creativity is looking for a Director Partnerships. This role is critical to delivering the organization's Business Plan ambitions by leading the development of EIT C&C's pan-European partner ecosystem, driving strategic alliances with industry, investors, public institutions, and innovation actors across the cultural and creative sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute EIT C&C's partnership strategy aligned with the Business Plan 2026–2028,
  • Drive acquisition of high-value partners across CCSI and adjacent sectors,
  • Develop scalable, sector-based partnership models,
  • Build and manage relationships with large corporates,
  • Industry platforms and associations, public institutions and EU stakeholders,
  • Structure strategic partnerships that deliver mutual value and long-term impact,
  • Strengthen EIT C&C's role as a pan-European ecosystem orchestrator,
  • Ensure strong integration between partnerships and Business creation,
  • Innovation projects, Education and skills initiatives,
  • Contribute to financial sustainability through partnerships, co-investment, and co-financing,
  • Develop partnership models linked to ROI, impact, and scalability,
  • Provide strategic leadership and coordination across headquarters and regional hub teams,
  • Work closely with the MarCom and Programme teams,
  • Align partnership strategy with communication and positioning

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in strategic partnerships, business development or ecosystem leadership,
  • Experience gained in leading corporates, consulting firms, innovation ecosystems, venture capital environments or comparable high-impact organisations,
  • Proven track record in structuring complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships,
  • Strong network across industry, innovation, or creative sectors,
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional EU languages are a strong asset,
  • Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen,
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills,
  • Ability to operate in a European, multi-cultural environment,
  • Experience linking partnerships to growth, investment, and innovation outcomes
