About this role

Creative Nature (https://creativenaturesuperfoods.co.uk/) is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to own the day-to-day marketing execution and strategic development of the brand. This role has been shaped around a proven workstream and reflects a mature, multi-channel marketing function that requires both commercial rigour and creative instinct.

The role will be remote, but we are ideally seeking someone in South Africa due to where much of the current marketing stock is, and because the other marketing team members who will remain in the role will be based in South Africa too.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Own and deliver the monthly content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, blog, and newsletter
  • Work 8 weeks ahead on content planning, ensuring alignment with retail moments, campaigns, partnerships, and seasonal activity
  • Develop campaign mechanics and briefs that includes giveaways, product launches, allergy awareness moments, and retail-linked activations
  • Manage and input into the monthly board pack, providing a clear marketing summary covering content performance, campaign results, partnership activity, and forward planning
Content & Channel Management

  • Manage the full content calendar in Later, ensuring all content is scheduled, captioned, and correctly linked ahead of the 24th of each month. (Minimum 15 unique posts a month on Creative Nature IG, 2 a day on TikTok and Founder IG 10-15 per month).
  • Write and oversee captions for Instagram company page content (working alongside the content specialist on visual production)
  • Write and oversee TikTok captions in line with the content specialist's content output
  • Oversee and coordinate the artwork process executed by an external design resource for all brand packaging requirements
  • Manage the YouTube channel: native scheduling and upload coordination
  • Own LinkedIn content for the Creative Nature company page - 8 posts per month, including imagery sourced/media creation and uploaded to Later
  • Oversee and QA all affiliate content, scheduling and captions
  • Running of TikTok Ads and Google Ads.
Long-Form Content

  • Write 2 blog posts per month - keyword-optimised, image-sourced, and uploaded to the website
  • Write or oversee 2 newsletters per month designed in Canva, uploaded to Flodesk, and linked appropriately
Community & Partnerships

  • Manage the affiliate marketing pipeline - recruitment, activation, and performance tracking
  • Lead influencer video coordination - maintaining an active pipeline of 15 confirmed videos per month during active periods
  • Lead outreach for community campaigns, including allergy advocacy partnerships and community-specific activations
  • Manage partnership development and nurturing, working closely with the founder on inbound and outbound relationships
  • Coordinate giveaway execution end-to-end: logistics, outreach, winner management, and content capture
Reporting & Comms

  • Provide a monthly activity summary covering: DMs handled, affiliates contacted, influencers confirmed, and content performance, which will feed directly into the board pack
  • Manage team and partner email communications on behalf of the brand
  • Maintain a weekly pipeline update to the founder covering active workstreams, upcoming deadlines, and any issues requiring sign-off
  • Managing the budget that is set out and reporting monthly. Ensuring not underspending or overspending.
Community Engagement

  • Conduct community engagement from the founders personal Instagram on a daily basis, with the intention of promoting certain brand launches, trade events or exposing new people to the brand.
  • Manage company email inbox
  • Manage customer queries/ inbound collaborations.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who brings the following:

Strategic Mindset

  • Approaches marketing with a commercial lens - connecting content, campaigns, and community activity to revenue, retail performance, and brand equity
  • Able to develop and own monthly content strategies that are target audience oriented and creative
  • Comfortable presenting ideas, rationale, and results directly to the founder
  • Proactively identifies gaps and opportunities rather than waiting to be directed
Project Management & Execution

  • Strong project management instincts
  • Experienced using scheduling and project tools
  • Understands the difference between strategic and execution work, and is willing to do both
  • Keeps systems clean - briefing is documented, deadlines are tracked, handoffs are clear
Creative & Brand Fluent

  • Has a strong eye for brand - able to brief designers, review content, and ensure quality control across all channels
  • Understands what makes content work on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and in email marketing, and can brief accordingly
  • Comfortable working within a defined brand voice while evolving it as the business grows
Growth-Oriented

  • Genuinely invested in pushing the brand forward characterized by bringing ideas to the table, spots trends, and has a view on where the category is going
  • Comfortable working in a founder-led business
Skill Set

  • Ability to edit videos quickly
  • Highly organised and can execute to deadlines
  • Can-do attitude and thinking outside the box to achieve goals
  • Canva/ Adobe experience
  • Worked with impact businesses
