I help people and organizations turn civic ambition into practical progress. As a social impact strategist and founder of CandleLight Advocacy, I work with changemakers who want to move from passion to purpose by designing programs, building coalitions, and creating pathways for real, lasting impact. My work focuses on four interconnected areas: program design, training, advocacy strategy, and policy analysis. I’ve spent more than 15 years helping political parties, youth advocates, civil society organizations, and emerging leaders across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States translate big ideas into achievable outcomes. Whether developing leadership programs, advising on inclusive policy design, or facilitating a workshop that helps people find their voice, I focus on connecting vision to implementation. CandleLight Advocacy grew out of a belief that progress begins with listening and that the best solutions come from collaboration, empathy, and strategic learning. I bring that same spirit to every partnership, working alongside teams to clarify goals, design strategies that work, and build the confidence to sustain progress long after the project ends. The name CandleLight was inspired by a painting of a single candle glowing in the dark given to me by my niece. In this image I saw a symbol of hope, persistence, and the quiet strength of those who choose to lead through difficult times. That image continues to guide CandleLight’s mission today: to help people find their light, grow it, and use it to illuminate the path forward.
