My biggest professional accomplishment is that every organization not only praised my work performance, but my colleagueship and the authenticity of connecting with people to do meaningful work for a collective good. Born in Indonesia, my family immigrated to the US when I was 2 because my dad won a scholarship to study at a university. That opportunity completely changed my family's trajectory, and I know firsthand how access to to high-quality education can lift families and communities. As a person who is now in her mid-life, having lived in 3 different countries, I am really interested in ideas of identity and belonging, and how that contributes to individual mental health and community actions.
