- Engage in strategic work planning and visioning with the Communications Team and execute plans in coordination with Program Coordinators and allies effectively and in a timely manner.
- Write op-eds and opinion pieces on relevant environmental, cultural, and human rights topics for publication in media outlets.

- Edit and proofread texts, ensuring grammatical correctness, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Work closely with writers and contributors to refine their work and enhance its impact for the target audience.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail, flow, engagement, and accuracy in all written materials.

- Participate in meetings and discussions to contribute expertise and insights to communication strategies.
- Contribute as needed to special investigative projects that uncover critical insights, trends, and challenges through research and analysis within the scope of AF’s mandate.
- In collaboration with the Communications team, collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data, conduct interviews, and produce compelling narratives about AF’s work and mission.
