Responsibilities

Websites and digital performance

  • Oversee all websites, ensuring they are accessible, user-friendly, accurate and secure.
  • Manage external developers and suppliers to deliver improvements (and resolve issues promptly).
  • Monitor analytics and user behaviour, providing actionable insights to improve performance and conversions, particularly the website’s information architecture, user journeys and engagement, especially for the self-help areas of our Stop It Now website.
  • Champion best practice in UX, SEO and accessibility and be the charity’s website expert, interacting with colleagues at all levels.

Paid media

  • Manage Google Ad Grants and paid social accounts to ensure ad credits are well used and optimised.
  • Develop and implement paid media strategies to reach diverse audiences effectively.
  • Liaise with agencies, government partners and expert advisors to coordinate and refine the digital and paid media activity for our flagship Stop It Now deterrence campaign.
  • Support internal services with paid digital campaigns to raise awareness of the charity, leading on delivery and evaluation.
  • Produce regular reports on digital performance, highlighting insights and recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Communications Manager, who is responsible for organic social media, to ensure that paid and organic are aligned for project-based communication or marketing plans.

Leadership and collaboration

  • Line manages the Marketing Executive.
  • Leads on the digital strategy and performance across web and paid channels.
  • Contribute digital insight and evaluation data to organisational and campaign reports, funding bids and funders reports, through the management and tracking of UTMs.
  • Support the wider communication and advocacy team in their digital capability and skills, sharing best practices and building their confidence in this area, such as understanding and tracking the digital impact of campaign and communication activity.
  • Act as project lead for digital and web projects in collaboration with services, coordinating external agencies and the wider team to deliver activities, to achieve communication and advocacy strategy objectives.
  • Support the direct delivery of clinical services through digital innovation solutions, strategically advising on and supporting the development of said online services that meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
