Responsibilities
As an Email Marketing Executive at smol, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting with the management of email campaigns, focusing on loyalty, upselling, new product launches, and brand-building initiatives.
- Creating and optimising automated campaigns with a strong focus on customer retention.
- Preparing copy, design, and data briefs to ensure all stakeholders are aligned so that campaigns run smoothly from start to finish.
- Being the first port of call for email marketing statistics, gathering key metrics and distributing them to relevant teams.
- Analysing email performance and consistently looking for ways to improve and optimise results.
- Coordinating the approval process for content, design, and final email assets, ensuring all elements meet brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Role Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- A good understanding of email marketing principles, best practices, and performance metrics.
- Experience in email marketing, particularly with tools like Klaviyo or similar platforms, including building flows and complex segmentation (a bonus!).
- A commercial, analytical mindset, with a curiosity to explore data and drive improvements; Excel skills are a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- A balance of independence and teamwork skills, with ease in collaborating with design, marketing, and growth teams.
- Experience in D2C sectors, especially in subscriptions or consumer goods, would be ideal.
- Passion for startups and a genuine commitment to promoting eco-friendly, sustainable lifestyles.
