About the project
InclusiveNISSA: Reinforcement of the Social and Economic Role of Women through the Promotion of Their Financial Inclusion is a regional initiative. Co-funded by European Union and led by Cospe n.g.o, that seeks to empower women in the MENA region and enhance their roles as social and economic actors.
The focus of the project is on supporting women in Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria and Morocco by equipping them with gender-sensitive financial and non-financial tools to grow and sustain their economic activities.
Activity 3.1 of InclusiveNISSA aims to establish an engaging Regional Information Hub on women’s financial inclusion. InclusiveNISSA’ will have a dedicated and branded online presence, targeting representatives of financial institutions and other key stakeholders of the project, including women entrepreneurs.
The space will include:
- A landing page accessible to all that will work as project website to promote access to the hub and enhance the visibility of InclusiveNISSA’ project;
- The teachable platform where all the training courses developed in other activities will be hosted, offering a no-code platform for creators who want to build more impactful businesses through courses, coaching, and digital downloads, and creating a space for the trainees’ learning experience
- A resource space, where relevant resources and tools will be uploaded by the project partners or by other relevant stakeholders
- Calendar and events, that allow users to find and participate in upcoming events, as well as upload their own events
This hub will be a visible, accessible, and connected space of action and inspiration.
To support the creation and digital presence of this hub, Impact Hub, as partner of the project in charge of this activity, is seeking a Digital Communication Specialist with Web Development Skills.
Objectives of the assignment
The objective of this consultancy is to design and implement a digital communication strategy and online presence for the Regional Hub established under Activity 3.1. The specialist will also be responsible for enhancing the visibility of the project’s activities through the development of a user-friendly digital platform.
Scope of work
The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Develop a microsite using CMS tools such as WordPress.
- Ensure responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate digital tools such as event calendars, social media channels, mailing list forms, different documents and teachable.
- Maintain and troubleshoot web functionality and performance over the course of the assignment.
- Technical Support and sharing best practices and tools for online engagement, and platform management.
Role Requirements
- University degree in Communications, Web Development, Digital Media, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital communications, storytelling, and web development.
- Strong command of HTML/CSS, WordPress (or equivalent CMS), and digital engagement tools.
- Proficiency in content creation and visual design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite).
- Experience working on gender, development, financial inclusion, or regional projects.
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of Arabic and/or French is an asset.
